Drayage

Drayage is a fee charged by service contractors at union shows, usually calculated on a per pound basis for each artist. Drayage is defined as: Hauling goods short distances. In trade show usage, moving exhibit materials within the confines of the exhibit hall, or the general contractor's warehouse.

Inbound only shipments pay full drayage. Outbound only shipments may get a reduced rate.

Art in Motion may prepay the drayage fees as a service to you. This will usually happen when there is a volume discount being offered. Based on the weights we measure in our warehouse, we will invoice you and payment will be due 3 days after the end of the show.
